I think a lot of beginner affiliate marketers also have a lot of knowledge which they are not aware of yet. After reading even just a few good ebooks, there can be many great ideas which can help them boost their commissions.

So like you said, before going out and buying more ‘stuff’, they should re-think of everything they really do know already.

You got it, Joel – often just doing a ‘brain dump’ on paper will bring out a lot more information than marketers realized they’d already learned – and that leads to new revelations caused by the synergy of seeing what they’ve written down. Brainstorming with another marketer also usually leads to creative ideas neither had thought of on their own, which is what makes mastermind groups so valuable. -DC.

People underestimate their own ability sometimes because they are all looking for that credibility and hopefully the creativity. It can be hard at first but eventually I think we all will see that we have something to offer and where do those ideas and that confidence come from, that brain of course. Creativity and using your own brain. Some do it naturally but for most it is something you need to be aware of and work at consistently. It is without a doubt the most powerful tool we all have.

Especially when first they start affiliate marketing it’s a tough choice as to how much you have to stay within areas known to work and how far afield you can take it – we’ve all had supposedly-brilliant ideas that went over like a lead balloon – and that’s putting it mildly in some cases! LOL But with practice and experience people will learn fast when they start affiliate marketing, especially if they test and track their results from each promotional method. -DC.
